Force quit the app on iPhone or iPad: 

  • Press the home button twice and your recent apps will appear.
  • Swipe left or right to find the app you want to close.
  • Swipe upwards on the app to close it.
  • If you're using an iPhone X,  slide your finger upwards from the bottom of the home screen and briefly hold it in the center until your recent apps appear. Long press (press and hold for a second) on the app you'd like to close until a red close button appears in the corner, and then swipe upwards on the app to force quit it.

  • Afterwards, try opening the app again.


Restart your iPhone or iPad:

  • Press and hold the sleep button on the top right corner of the device. If you're using an iPhone X, press and hold the Siri button at the top right and the increase volume button at the same time.
  • A shutdown slider will appear. Slide right to power off the device.
  • Once the device is fully powered off, press and hold the sleep button for a couple of seconds to turn the device back on.
  • Try opening the app again.

Force close the app on Android and Kindle devices: 

  • Press the Recent apps button, located next to your home button. It usually looks like a square, or two overlapping rectangles. 
  • Swipe to locate the app you want to close. On most devices your recent apps will display vertically, but some display them horizontally.
  • Press the "x" to close it, or if there is no "x" swipe it to the sides. On devices which display recent apps horizontally, swipe upwards. 
  • Afterwards, try opening the app again.

Restart your Android or Kindle device:

  • Press and hold the sleep/power button to activate the shutdown prompt.
  • Turn the device back on using the same button.
  • Try opening the app again.


What if restarting doesn't fix the issue?

If restarting your device doesn't fix the problem, check to make sure you're using the latest software for your phone or tablet. On iPhone/iPod/iPad the updates are provided free of charge by Apple and you can see the instructions on how to update by going to this link: "How to update iPhone, iPod, iPad iOS software


On Android devices contact your carrier or the device manufacturer for instructions.


If the above suggestions don't fix the issue, delete and reinstall the app from the store.

If you're using the paid, ad-free version of the app, it will be free to reinstall using the original purchasing account.


Once the application is reinstalled, try to open it again and the problem should be resolved.
